The objective of this study is to measure the genotype environment interaction for pos yearling weight in Nellore cattle. The data were supplied by the nacional association of creators and researchers (ANCP). Data of 874.624 animals are registered in cadastre in the association and distributed in 13 states. In this study only the data from the state of Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo they will be evaluated. Only animals that have been born since 1995 will be evaluated. Feed and reproductive management are variable, however three types of management are considered: (management 1 feeding in pasture; management 2 feeding in pasture and supplementation; management 3 animals in feedlot). In this work it will be considered only the animals in management 1. The statisticians analyses and descriptive analyses will be made using SAS. Variance and covariance components will be analyzed as multiple traits, considering each trait as a different trait by bayesian method with the Gibbs sampler. Values of genetic correlations below of 0,80 indicate significant genotype environment interaction.
