Abstract

he theme of this research part of the circuit theory of urban economics, developed by Milton Santos, the books Les Villes du Tiers Monde, 1971, and, above all, L'espace Partagé, 1975, in which the author proposes an understanding of cities developing countries from two circuits of the economy, the upper and lower. Intercommunication, both circuits differ in the degree of technology, capital and organization used in economic activities and the population groups linked to them. Seek to understand the production of music, from such systems in certain geographical situations of the Brazilian cities of Sao Paulo (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Goiânia (GO), Salvador (Bahia) and Recife (PE).In other words, we will study the territorial division of labor and social activities related to the production of different musical genres. To this end, consider recording studios and compatibility testing, record labels, record shops, musical groups, with vendors selling CDs, newsstands, nightclubs, developers who are presenting music over the Internet, producers and distributors of disks.We will take into account the strength of this research and the role of public regulation and private finance and credit, information, tools and work equipment, inputs and raw materials, labor-intensive, forms of organization the built environment, advertising, marketing and the profit is used by these different actors.
