Abstract The objective of this project is to present a study of the G-index defined by Fadell and Husseini in [Fadell, E., Husseini, S., An ideal-valued cohomological index theory with applications to Borsuk-Ulamand Bourgin-Yang theorems. Ergodic Theory Dynam. Systems 8, Charles Conley Memorial Issue,73-85, 1988.] and to use such index in study of the results about degree of G-equivariant maps proved by Hara in [Hara, Y. The degree of equivariant maps. Topology Appl. 148 113-121, 2005]. As applications, some generalizations of Borsuk-Ulam theorems will be presented. | |
