The most general objective is to understand how the these Brazilian' political exiles identity, assumed in Europe and America, receive other meanings in the political, social and economical context of Mozambique, that attributes new senses to their individual paths and to the path of the most general group than they recognize like their generation. Tends as departure this more general aim and trying to focus the processes through which the social subjects link and they establish relationships of power, building their social identities, there are the following more specific objectives: to understand the process that allows the identity changes of these Brazilian ones and the re-elaboration of their narratives on the exile starting from their insert in Mozambique; to explore the uses and senses attributed to the concepts generation, exile and cooperative which they use for their on identify; to analyze the established solidarity nets among those that identified themselves part of a same generation and how them produce the development of projects of mutual solidarity between Brazilians and Mozambicans; to investigate if the existence in Mozambique would have hidden or retarded the "defeat " feeling lived by this generation in the exile, and finally, to observe as these processes is combined in the construction of their national identity.
