Abstract

The mastitis is defined as an inflammation of the mammary gland, the one which frequently has bacterial origin. More than 80 different species of microorganisms were identified as agents' causes of bovine mastitis, and the species more frequently isolated they are Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus uberis and Escherichia coli. The espectromety of mass can be understood as an analytical technique that it allows the identification of the chemical composition of a certain isolated composition, or of different composed in complex mixtures, through the determination of their molecular masses in the ionic form, in other words, with electric charge liquid, positive or negative, based on his movement through a field electric or magnetic. Coming samples of animals of the races will be used Gir and Dutchmen received for exam microbiological in the Laboratory of TPOA in the Campus of USP/FMVZ/VNP in Pirassununga/SP, made the identification microbiological the bacteria will be submitted to the protocols of lipids extraction and bacteria integrate, after the preparation of the samples, these will be directed to the Laboratory ThoMSon of Spectrometry of located Mass in the Institute of Chemistry in the State University of Campinas, where a mass of spectrometry will be used Waters Synapt HDMS (Waters Corp., Milford, MA, USES) equipped with source of MALDI. This project has as objective propitiates the use of the technique of mass of espectromety (MS) for diagnosis in samples of milk of cows with mastitis sub-clinic and clinical, in way to turn faster and I need the diagnosis of the mastitis, disease of larger cost and frequency in farms of milk and with that to reduce the persistence of the disease and the costs generated by her.
