Abstract

The present work aims to study risk factors and protective for mental disorders in children and adolescents victims of domestic violence, and, from the perspective of health promotion, check routing proposals regarding the design of each individual therapeutic child, adolescent and his family. Search to perform a characterization and contextualization socio-economic and cultural subjects; know the history of domestic violence in the families of children and adolescents studied; know aa link between the phenomenon of domestic violence (in its different types) and the appearance of signs and symptoms that may result in mental disorders in childhood and adolescence; estimate the prevalence of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents victims of domestic violence from a Specialized Service in Campinas and point protection and risk factors for mental disorders.This study will use quantitative and qualitative approaches, this research subjects being children and adolescents victims of domestic violence (4-16 years old) and their families enrolled in a specialized service in assisting children and adolescents who are victims of domestic violence in Campinas, besides the teachers and accompanying families in Specialized Service (psychologists and social workers). To collect the data, tools and techniques will be applied structured, semi-structured interviews and focus groups. By raising questions about this theme, we intend to contribute to the scientific knowledge and assist professionals working in health and social. It is also expected to seek open space to ensure comprehensive care and advance the realization of rights of children and adolescents, primarily for the treatment, prevention and health promotion.
