Abstract

In recent years, the evolution of the studies and researches on the native (mother) language in Brazil, as well as studies specifically linked with the education and learning process of the Portuguese language as mother language has been provoking reflections and debates concerning the needed revision of the education objects in classroom and consequently of the didactic-pedagogical materials. It is necessary to consider that the linguistic variation and change as intrinsic facts to the social processes language use should have to contribute to make the school understand the difficulties of the students and it could act more promptly so that they (the students) could realize and understand when and where some uses have legitimacy or not, and having reached this social and linguistic conscience, it could act also in a more conscientious way to the interactions in which they participate. That can be linked to the oral practices or to the writing ones as interaction. One of the conscientious performance ways for a pedagogical boarding can be the contribution given from the grammaticalization of intentions as we consider in this project, with the grammaticalization study of the doubt from the cognitive category of time.
