Abstract Using methods from Combinatorial Group Theory, as for example, HNN extensions and associated trees, to apply the Meinert criteria in order to study the Homological properties of the Richard Thompson Group G which has interesting characterists as to have homological type FP_infinity i.e. the trivial Z[G]-module Z has a free resolution with all modules in the resolution being finitely generated, G has infinity cohomological dimension and the cohomology of G with coeficients in Z[G] is trivial in every dimension. | |
