Abstract

The project is an effort to understand and characterize the process of political repression on the movement in the Pontal socioterritoriais - SP. This is a region of historic land disputes between farmers, landowners and agribusiness.The objective of this project is to understand and analyze a few cases of prosecution and criminal executed in the Pontal 1990 to 2009, from the conflict in the region, which comprises an integral part of land conflicts in Brazil, and point size and integration of these elements of the agrarian question at present.From a design that seeks to understand the criminal proceedings and the struggle for land as a setback in development policy planning and limiting factor in advancing the political participation of socioterritoriais movements in the definition of its fundamental and alternative model of development for the Brazilian countryside.
