Abstract

This research project in scientific research hinges on the Research Project: Cultural Heritage Management Paulista, which was funded by FAPESP - 2007/06662-4 and completed in 2009. The project is having continued under the auspices of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho-UNESP. It aims to contribute to the counties in the management of cultural heritage, through the survey, Visa analysis and discussion of the management tools of the various bodies that focus on the theme. It also proposes to promote the expansion of the discussions on the topic of undeniable importance for the preservation of social memory in those municipalities. Since the process of occupation of the central parts of cities in the interior, it is observed that memory traces of these sites are destroyed, thus, seeks in this work to survey towns in the state of Sao Paulo that have agencies and technical legislation specific protect their assets. Will be made a survey of instruments used in each city and field visits. After collecting the data will make the comparison between the instruments and found the material resulting from this analysis, we intend to indicate possibilities for coordination between local governments and other preservation agencies. The data will be available in a digital computer network accessible to the general public. The research will be performed on all the cities of São Paulo, divided into administrative regions. In this project of Undergraduate Research - RESEARCH REGION 4 - define the following cities: Santo Andre, Sao Caetano, Sao Bernardo, Sao Jose dos Campos, Louveira, Lorena. (AU)
