Abstract

The identification of areas with different yield potential allows that agricultural activities be better planned. The goal is identify areas of specific management in coffee cultivation using the magnetic susceptibility of the soil and numerical classification in the context of the soil-landscape. The study area is located in the municipality of Matão - SP. Will be done in the area a grid with intervals of 45 m in an area of approximately 40 hectares. Soil samples will be taken at depths of 0.00 to 0.20 and 0.60 to 0.80 m. Will be determine the physical and chemical soil properties and magnetic susceptibility (MS). Will also be evaluated attributes of the plant, production, percentage of grains in the sieves 16, 17 and 18 and the beverage quality. The data will be analyzed by descriptive statistics, geostatistics and multivariate analysis. The results will be interpreted taking into account concepts of soil-landscape.
