This study aims to evaluate the effect of different inclusion levels of crude glycerin, from the agribusiness biodiesel, in suplementation of steers treated on pasture during the dry season and water, in phases of growing and finishing. The treatments are divided into five levels of glycerin inclusion: 0%, 7%, 14%, 21% and 28%, in dry matter basis, where the crude glycerin will replace the corn grain supplementation. Will be evaluated parameters of nutrition, blood and rumen, modifications in rumen microbiota using molecular biotechnology, efficiency of microbial synthesis, methane production, the weight gain, the carcass characteristics and meat quality.
