Abstract

This project proposes the creation of a system to overlook the activities of a manufacture robotic cell. The development of such a cell, on course at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica with the support of Embraer, intends to automate the assembly of aeronautical structures such as fuselages. This management system will integrate the many modules that compose the cell - manipulators, metrologic equipment, end-effectors - through a communications network. Furthermore, it will feature a unified computational interface which concentrates the main control and configuration functions of the cell, to simplify and ease the implementation and future operation of the project in industry.
