Abstract

This research project aims know the development and reasoning of the occupational therapy practices in the inclusive education field. Through the knowledge of the practices performed by occupational therapists in the field of Inclusive Education and axles theorists argue the aim is also to contribute to the recognition of current professional practice and production of literature in the area. It is a study of systematic literature review about Occupational Therapy in the educational field published in the period 2002 to 2011. Will be consulted international and national journals and databases related to health, education and occupational therapy. It will be also raise books and publications of the Annals of Occupational Therapy. For the analysis of results and creation of categories related to the identification of trends of reasoning in practice and literature will be held initially presentation to descriptive the found material (by year, type of production, the authors' home institutions) and will later be conducted in-depth reading to identify the theoretical and methodological trends observed in different studies related to: 1. Direct action for people with disability, occupational training and the school community; 2. Different models of evaluation of the student and their needs; 3. Representations, meaning and significance of school inclusion for people, for professionals and the community school and 4. Development of programs or policies on inclusive education. The study will also contribute to the formation of the student in the scope of bibliographic research. (AU)
