Abstract

This work aims to study the functioning of the Railway Traffic Campinas - Jaguariuna (VFCJ), the first railway to be rescued by the performance of the Brazilian Association of Railway Preservation (ABPF), which aims to reflect a new way to reuse and preservate railways as a tourist attraction. The methodology used in this work will be based on survey data on the deployment of this association in the railway stretch, to raise in-depth details on the operation of the tour, and to study the profile of visitors and also the survey the surrounding tourist infrastructure. Later this work will use oral sources, with members of the association, which is based on the methodology of oral history, as well as questionnaires to tourists. (AU)
