The urban landscapes of cities do not appear at first glance. Much remains in its corners and its folds, especially when it comes to the body's communication to the city, the object of this research. It is a communication permeated with recesses, that will be investigated in the light of a triad of interrelated and undisciplined contributions: Corpomídia Theory (KATZ & GREINER, 2001, 2005, 2010); the concept of Cartography (Cartogaphy (MARTIN-BARBERO, 2004; ROLNIK, 2007) and the readings of the city of FERRARA (2007, 2008). Employing a theoretical-practical methodology, which includes literature review and case study of the intervention Daqui Prali, that has been done in urban centers of the cities of Recife and São Paulo. This research aims to investigate the city as the media environment, in which the cultural mapping occupy a preponderant role. The hypothesis is that the body acts as an agent of possible communication processes. Keywords: body and city, body and environment; corpomídia; cartography; body-cartographer; hiker.
