Abstract

This document aims to present a dissertation proposal to be developed in the Masters Program in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics of the ICMC / USP. The dissertation topic is the development of a computational tool to help professionals in the implementation of optimization methods and problems resolution. The tool can be framed as a framework for development and focuses primarily on guiding the implementation of computational methods, using as a paradigm the object-oriented programming. Thus, the objective is to facilitate and encourage the sharing and reuse of code and computing resources, easing the creation of codes using several programming languages, allowing the resolution of optimization problems with single and multi-objective, and enabling the implementation of exact, heuristic and metaheuristics methods.
