Abstract

This research project aims to check the status of the issue of literary studies on poet Henriqueta Lisboa (1901-1985), in the Brazilian children's literature. In the studies focused on the lyrical, there is great need in academia, either as literature or as reception work reading on the reader as to the beginner and even young readers. The bibliographic proposed in this research project will include references to the history of Brazilian children's literature, analysis of poetic texts of poetry and literary criticism, seeking to establish relations between the critical fortune of the writer and the aesthetic features of The Boy Poet, published in 1943 , considered a masterpiece for children. The analysis of the poems will switch the search for aesthetic that, according to literary critics referenced the possible overlap of poetry pedagogizantes intentions of Lisbon.
