Abstract

When it comes to the process of inclusion, people with disabilities are related to the school environment or in the labor market. So, barriers still exist and are serious when we consider the leisure and tourism of these people. This project consists in the union of Tactile Mapping and inclusive tourism for people with visual impairments in the cities of Barra Bonita and Igaraçu Tietê-SP in order to encourage these people to travel more and meet new places. This project intends to develop and evaluate ways to contribute to the orientation and mobility and to a greater understanding in the spaces in the cities. The visually impaired people can benefit from these resources since they are suitable for their needs. Thus, in addition to providing guidance and access to destinations and sights, they can assist in the projection of images related to the cities, sharpening their curiosity and encouraging people to travel and see new places.
