Abstract

This project aims to problematize the flow of financial specialized information in Brazil. Information is becoming an essential element for insertion into the globalized world, which gives it a strategic character of increasing range. Financial information in this context is a target of the ambition of various economic actors who seek to increase their investments - this highlights the activities of financial information agencies. Among those agencies, Bloomberg, despite its recent origins, quickly became international and is active in Brazil. The presence of agencies that collect and diffuse strategic information in a territory influences its organization, interfering with its urban network, since the concentration of information is capable of valuing the territory, albeit selectively, in the global economy. Internal economical and territorial dynamics receive, through information, the influence of external conditions and thus, information and finance become key terms to understand the dynamics of the Brazilian territory.(AU)
