Abstract In this work, it's considered the study of the potential use of waste from the agriculture industry and furniture industry, sugarcane bagasse and wood particles, in order to add value to these materials, through manufacturing hybrid panels of wood particles with partial substitution for crushed sugarcane bagasse (15%, 30%, 50% and 75%). For these procedures, will be used a bi-component polyurethane resin based on castor beans oil. The quality of the products will be evaluated based on the requirements of normative documents NBR 14.810:2006, through physic-mechanical. The hybrid panels will be compared with a 100% wood particles panel made and a 100% sugarcane bagasse panel made. After analyzing the results, a treatment will be chosen to study the thermal performance when applied as a lining in agricultural buildings. | |
