Abstract

The present project, that is going to be performed by means of studies abroad, aims to deepen the scholarship student in the theoretical and methodological frames used as guides in his original research. In the master's degree project funded by FAPESP, the researcher aims to understand, from the theoretical frames taken mainly from Gramsci and Vigotski, how the construction of meanings attributed to the political participation of a group of educators of the landless social movement happens. It is understood that the articulation between vigotskian historical-cultural psychology and the gramscian thought has a great potential to focus and understand the processes implicated in political participation. The Italian group of research, leaded by Prof. Colucci, in which the researcher is going to perform the studies, aims to the study and application of gramscian categories in Psychology, and also to dialogue this author with other authors from the historical-cultural perspective, particularly Leontiev and Vigotski. During the study, the scholarship student is going to participate of grades, group reunions, individual guidances with the professor/supervisor and the study of the pertinent bibliography. Moreover, it is intended that, during this period, the employed empirical material of the research is going to be discussed with the group of the Italian professor, enriching the analysis. It is intended, furthermore, to deepen the studies of the concepts which the group of professor Colucci has already accumulated, particularly the concepts of praxis, hegemony and common sense. Therefore, the participation of the scholarship student along with the group will certainly contribute to the development of the original project by means of the theoretical-methodological deepening that the research demands.
