This project is to evaluate the effect of different doses of vinasse on growth, yield and fruit quality of pineapple cultivar Vitória (Ananas comosus L. Merrill), order to final disposal of this effluent in order to ensure water recycling and nutrients contained in it without compromising the physical and chemical characteristics of soil. The project involves the search for a dose of vinasse application that will provide a satisfactory development of the pineapple combined not risk of contamination. The evaluation of the development of culture will be performed by analyzing the growth of pineapple along the crop cycle, assessing plant height, leaf number, leaf length and width of the sheet medium "D", the fresh and dry shoot and root system and nutrient content in dry matter. In the fruit will be analyzed: nutrient concentration, total soluble solids (SS), titratable acidity (TTA), TSS / TTA (RATIO), pH, firmness of fruit peeled. The monitoring of the effects of disposal of vinasse in soil will be accomplished through solution extractors and chemical analyzes of pH in H 2 O and KCl, exchangeable acidity and potential, organic matter, cation exchange capacity and effective potential, sum of bases, saturation of aluminum, for bases and sodium exchangeable content of Ca, K, Mg, Na, and available from P N-total analysis and physical characteristic curve of the ground, particle size, density of the soil, particle density, porosity total macroporosity and microporosity. The project will be developed in a greenhouse at the Department of Biosystems, School of Agriculture "Luiz de Queiroz" - USP, in Piracicaba SP.
