Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the influence of thermomechanical fatigue in the bond strength (BS) of repaired composite using two different adhesive systems. sixty samples will be made with Filtek Z350 which will be separated into four groups: 01 - without repair (control), group 02 - without repair and with thermomechanical fatigue, group 03A - with repair with 3 steps adhesive without thermomechanical fatigue, group 03B - with repair with one-step adhesive without thermomechanical fatigue, group 04A - with repair with 3 steps adhesive and thermomechanical fatigue, group 04B - with repair with 1-step adhesive and thermomechanical fatigue. After that, all samples will be cut into sticks (1mm2) and submitted to microtensile testing at Universal Testing Machine (Emic - Model 2000-1L) at a speed of 0.5 mm / min. The values obtained for BS will be submitted to statistical analysis (one-way ANOVA, Tukey test, significance level of 95%).
