Abstract

The kinetic disposition of a compound has a close relation with some of its physico-chemical properties. The investigation of these properties before evaluating the pharmacokinetic profile in animal models may have predictive value for their behavior in the body and assist in planning the study in vivo. The new molecule Lyso-7 was synthesized in the Federal University of Pernambuco Laboratory and was noted due its anti-inflammatory activity. Although the pharmacological activity of the product is a basic premise for the therapeutic viability, it is not the only defining feature of this viability. The pharmacokinetic profile should be investigated early to avoid the continuation of studies of compounds with little chance of success later. This project aims to evaluate the LogP and stability in vitro and ex vivo of the new compound. This information will assist in planning of the in vivo study.
