Abstract

This is a work plan for the application of the Doctorate student Henrique Oliveira Sawakuchi, at the Center of Nuclear Energy in Agriculture, scholarship holder FAPESP 2011/14502-2. This internship will be developed at Linköping University, Sweden, supervised by Professor David Bastviken, who is one of the most important researchers about methane in natural freshwater environments.The aim of this internship will be the elaboration of one paper about methane flux from rivers and learn different approaches used for estimate methane production and oxidation in freshwater environments.
