Abstract

The oral production and comprehension of sentences is an language proficiency important to our verbal community, and possible difficulties in this can compromise the interactions of individuals with society. Although there is much research on this topic in Special Education, Psychology and Audiology, studies that analyze the generative aspect of verbal behavior of people with privation hearing before acquiring language (prelingual hearing loss) and benefit from using cochlear implants (CI) are still scarce in Behavior Analysis, demanding more systematic research. With cochlear implanted pre-lingual, observes acquisition receptive repertoire compared to their peers listeners, but the literature shows that the expressive repertoire does not present the same rate. This present project aims to check if, based on the strengthening the network of relations in reading through constructed-response matching-to-sample (CRMTS), can be obtained greater accuracy in the naming of sentences, in other words, with greater correspondence point-to-point with the conventions established by the verbal community. Four children with hearing loss prelingual cochlear implant users, readers and poor performance in oral production of sentences, will be teaching the following conditionalrelations: selection of picture after dictated sentence (AB), constructionthe written sentence after sentence dictated (AE) and construction the written sentence after the model compost by the dictated and written sentence (AC-E). Will be checked if these conditions are sufficient for accuracy in naming the figures of human actions (BD) and if will demonstrate recombinative generalization of the minimum units. The present proposal will promote the expansion of knowledge about the relations between receptive and expressive language of implanted pre-lingual careful evaluation of management strategies for teaching these repertoires.
