Abstract

Chronic pelvic pain is a common clinical condition, including Brazil. Studies from our research center showed a prevalence of around 11%. She is, amongst other injuries, because the applicant seeks the services of health, absence from work and low productivity. With the final insertion of women in the labor market the disease has negatively impacted on the economic performance of the group, directly affecting economic activity at home. Occupational guidance programs are fundamental to multidisciplinary rehabilitation and reintegration into the labor market. However, to draw up an intervention plan and set goals plausible is necessary to characterize the degree of impairment of occupational performance in the context of our population. Objective: To characterize the occupational performance of women with DPC seen at a tertiary center and the association between occupational limitations in the domains of quality of life and degree of kinesiophobia. Subjects and methods: cross sectional study provides for the inclusion of 100 women treated at the outpatient clinic of HCFMRP-USP and patients with chronic pelvic pain. All instruments are translated and validated for use in Brazil. The project, along with the term of consent will be submitted to the CEP-HCFMRP-USP before it starts. Expected results: to know the impact of occupational disease in the context of women in our population. This will allow the development of strategies for rehabilitation and reintegration of these women to their leisure activities and work. We also hope to complete a master's guidance. Our methodology will allow the students to develop specific skills in research, and active participation in meetings of the research center and other on-DG. As most of our studies, we intend to present our results in a partial international conference and announce the final results in a selective international journal with editorial policy. (AU)
