Abstract

The present project has as it object of study the conceptual and practical relation between the Mimesis Corporea methodology, developed by Lume Teatro from Campinas - Sao Paulo, and the composing process in contemporary dance, regarding the concept of body dramaturgy. The research will be supported by the theory of authors as Michel Foucault, José Gil and aesthetics-philosophical assumptions discussed and presented by Brazilian artistic scene researcher artists, as Renato Ferracini and Christine Greiner. At the same time, practical laboratories will be developed guided by Mimesis Corporea methodology, which are going to be divided in two initial stages. The first one will be formed by a exercises review proposed by Mimesis Corporea methodology, emphasizing the use of images and objects. By the second stage, ways to consider this practice for dance will be developed starting from the relation with the other and the urban space. All laboratories will be done in collaboration with Grupo Vão [1], contemporary dance collective group, aiming the development as a synthesis of a solo scenic study. The use of images and objects, and further the relation with the other and the urban space, will be the main tools for the Mimesis Corporea practice study, aiming to create corporal states, impulses and movement flows, directing them to build choreographies. Thus, we will be purposing a process of contamination between a procedure derived of theatrical practices, which is the Mimesis Corporea, and its dissipation and appliance to try creative processes in dance. ________________________________________[1] Grupo Vão collaborates since 2010 with Núcleo Fuga ( Language Research Study Group associated to Lume Teatro) coordinated by the researcher actor Renato Ferracini. Nucleo Fuga is presently formed by eight researcher artists, among actors and dancers, which are: Ana Clara Amaral and Eduardo Brasil and the members of Grupo Vão: Carolina Minozzi, Isis Andreatta, Juliana Melhado, Julia Monteiro and Patrícia Árabe
