Abstract

The collaborative consulting system presents itself as an opportunity to work to assist, collaborate with the various protagonists of the education network: school; teachers; family and specialist adviser, to meet the demand of school-aged children with learning and behavior problems. The present work aims to observe systematically interventions carried out by special education professionals in his performances with the American school linked services, whose institutions comprise the framework program in partnership with the University, as well as supervised by guiding teacher's work abroad. The present research project is approved and, in progress in the country of origin as a regular project, by the Committee of ethics in research for humans of UFSCar requirements contained in Resolution 196/96, the National Board of health with the protocol number CAAE-4246.0.000.135-10 under number 414/2010. Will be part of this research project, basic school teachers and their students assisted by special education. Teachers will be selected by professional specialist special education, which works collaboratively with them. The comments will be held in the school institution indicated by the American educational laws governed by the supervisor, located in the city of Athens in the State of Georgia, in the United States of America offering academic management and organization models, where Special Education professionals - supervisor of this project and Professor at the University of Georgia carries out work in the area of inclusive education Laureate by the current standards of the Federation well as observations in primary school Stanley British Primary School in the city of Denver Colorado State capital. The observations proposals will be developed within the physical environment where they give the care and interventions, as well as in space - room-designed to support inclusive education. In the training course of observation related to the primary school of Denver will be developed in their own classrooms, as well as in space - room-designed to support inclusive education. For data collection are used four observation protocols. The research will be developed in three months (from the funding agency approval in question) for the first half of 2013. Of qualitative and quantitative, quantitative data it collects will be analyzed according to its specificity. For analysis and interpretation of qualitative results will be applied Content Analysis (BARDIN, 1998). This study aims to contribute to the area of special education becoming a major issue for educational practice. (AU)
