Abstract

This project aims the analysis through mapping the musical insertions of the 12 chapters of the miniseries "Som & Fúria" , directed by Fernando Meirelles and exhibited by Rede Globo de Televisão in 2009, and compare with the musical insertions of the 12 episodes of two seasons of the series "Slings and Arrows", directed by Peter Wellington and exhibited by the Movie Network (TMN), Movie Central and Showcase in 2003-2005. The music soundtrack of the two television products will be analyzed in its macro and micro-structural levels, based on the theoretical references of academic literature in the area of film music. This project is part of a project of mapping and studying the musical insertions of television audiovisual products, which began to be developed recently by the research group in Music and Sound Design Applied to Dramaturgy and Audiovisual, in the Art Institute of UNICAMP.
