The present research project aims to analyze the history and the productive process of farmers linked to the Ibiuna's Association of Organics Small Producers (APPOI) as well as the various difficulties faced, by identifying in what way the particular experience of this association could contribute to the debate about the viability of Agroecology. For it, we start from the cropping pattern of the Green Revolution and from the economic, social and environmental crisis arising from this model. As an alternative to the standard conventional agriculture comes up the Agroecology, science that provides the theoretical basis for an alternative agriculture. For carrying out the research, field works will be done with the application of questionnaires and recording of interviews with organic farmers linked to APPOI. (AU)
