Abstract

The central aim of the research is to conduct a diagnosis of the perception of education professionals and parents of municipal schools in the city of Assis / SP on the project of continuing education consisting of teachers and students of the Faculty of Education, Universidade Estadual Paulista, UNESP / Marilia and accordingly identify the limitations and possibilities for building democratic experiences. Research will occur in a qualitative research approach and intends to conduct, as instruments, monitoring, analysis and description of all meetings and semi-structured interviews with education professionals and parents of five schools belonging to the project as well as teachers of the University. The theoretical analysis is to subsidize the one who asserts the specificity of School Directors ( PARO, 1986) and the possibility of building democratic school practices from the experience of dialogue and questioning (Freire, 2010).
