The study of agro-food chains makes possible to know the way of each product during it life cycle before being tranformated into exportable product or consumed by the internal market. The new economical-social model of Cuba, have been fulfilled some actions in order to develop agro industrial sector in the country delivering land for fruit cultivation to producers, opening small industrial processing units, and creating new markets and mechanisms to commercialize fresh and processed fruits. Even so, Cuba could not reach a sustainable management of fruit agro-food chain. The mango production is considerate economically important for Cuba and Brazil. The present project aims to compare different productive systems in relation with technology, ecology, organization, alliances, economy and efficient use of resources in mango agro food chain in order to evaluate and calculate sustainable indicators to establish a strategic plan of agribusiness applying reference performance models and calculating sustainability indicators.
