Abstract

Carbon nanostructures have been shown to have a wide range of applications in several fields. However, characterization seems to be a key factor in order to make data comparable. The nanostructures of carbon are indeed one of the most promising for enhancing neuronal regeneration and include CNTs, graphene sheets and carbon nanofibers. The present study will analyze the eventual cytotoxic effects of nanoparticles of carbon in neuronal cultures exposed to different concentrations of such materials (0,1, 1,0 e 10 ug/ml. (AU)
