Abstract

Based on the need to maintain a connection with their home countries, the Arab writers in the Americas literary magazines published in the New World in the early twentieth century. This work analyzes two examples of Arab writers in diaspora, and which are part of Arab literary societies in the city of São Paulo- Chafiq Al-Maluf (1905 - 1977) written in Arabic 4AJB 9J3I 'DE9DHA, and in New York- Mikhail Naimy (1889 to 1988 ) also pronounced as Mikha'il Nacima, and in Arabic EJ.'&JD F9JE). Through some texts of these two writers, the study seeks to demonstrate how these literary movements were part of new contexts and Arab Diaspora, also how their writers motivated the Arabic literary renovation, and the construction of networks of shared Arabic cultural memory with Brazil and the United States.
