Abstract We propose to study novel optomechanical cavities, which include different systems and materials. The main goal is to fabricate cavities that can be studied in the few phonon regimes, close to the ground state, and hybrid systems that will enable control of the mechanical degree of freedom through interactions with applied magnetic fields. | |
