Abstract

The research project presented here has as object of study the face in dance. Aims to investigate his relationship with the expressiveness and body shape in motion, in developing a dramaturgy of dance. To do this, analyzes historically late 1970 works in the USA, particularly New York, and Germany, especially in Essen, noting characteristics, differences and similarities between the expressionist movement and performance, comparing with current works. Lists the issues raised by the studies with experimental research carried out in laboratories of creation in a theoretical and experimental methodology.
