For women, urinary incontinence determines social, sexual, psychological and economic problems. Some symptoms associated with urinary incontinence affect sleep quality in women such as nocturia and enuresis. Thus, this study aims to analyze the effects of treatment of urinary incontinence in women`s sleep quality. This will be a longitudinal cohort study conducted through questionnaries. The study population will consist of 100 adult women who have a diagnosis of stress urinary incontinence and who will undergo surgical correction by surgery SLING. Three instruments will be used to evaluate: the Epworth Sleepiness Scale, the Index of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Questionnaire and a socio-economic development.
