Objective: To estimate the concerns with health eating and nutritional knowledge of undergraduate students from a Pharmacy Biochemistry course and its association with interest variables. Methods: All students enrolled in the year of 2013/2014 in the Pharmacy and Biochemistry undergraduate courses at the Pharmacy School - UNESP (n=430) will be invited to participate in the study. Information regarding gender, age, presence of labor activity, household size, economic status, educational level of the head of the family, physical activity practice, alcohol consumption, and family history of chronic diseases will be collected. Concern with healthy eating and nutritional knowledge will be estimated using the health eating proposal of the National Food and Nutrition Policy (PNAN) from the Ministry of Health and a Nutritional Knowledge Scale. The quality metric of the instruments will be obtained. To estimate the factorial validity, a confirmatory factorial analysis using the tetrachoric correlation matrix implemented in the MPLUS 6.0 program will be used. As quality adjustment indexes, chi-square and liberty degrees ratio (x2/gl) , confirmatory fit index (CFI), Tucker Lewis index (TLI) e o root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) will be used.
