Abstract

It is known that the school environment is one of the environments that can most favor a child's emotional development. When considering teachers as the ones that a child's caretaker, in an school environment, the importance of taking care of these professionals, so that they can do the same for the students who depend on them, becomes apparent. This study aims at investigating clinical efficacy of a clinical approach focused on primary school teachers, and generating scientific knowledge that may favor a school that provides holding for its children. For that purpose, a psychoanalytical clinical approach will be applied in three schools in Brazil and in two in France, in which primary school teachers will have sessions with the researcher, in order to deal with everyday work conflicts. After each encounter, transferential narratives will be written and analyzed by the researcher and research group from a psychoanalytical viewpoint; this aims at verifying changes in the fields inhabited by the teachers, assessing the clinical efficacy of said approach.
