Abstract

Theme: The language disorders resulting from cerebrovascular accident (stroke) cause profound changes in people´s lives. Among the sequelae resulting from stroke are the aphasia. The importance of studying the discourse is to understand how the aphasic individuals communicate in everyday situations. One of the ways to study the discourse is through thematic figurative scenes single or in sequence. The story of "Cinderella" is often used in studies, because it is a world familiar story around the world and generates linguistic material of dimensions that allow detailed analysis. Objectives: 1. To explore children's narratives that produce the number of valid indicators to study speech sample of subjects Brazilian Portuguese speakers. 2. To analyze macro and microstructural aspects of discourse of normal individuals. 3. To analyze macro and microstructural aspects of discourse of aphasic individuals. Method: A total of 35 subjects will participate in the study, 15 aphasic patients (study group) and 20 normal (control group). Participants will watch the scenes of "Cinderella," Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and "Red Riding Hood" and then have to retell each story with his words. The transcription of data will be supported by the Express Scribe software. We will analyze macro and microstructural aspects of the discourses produced. (AU)
