Abstract

Health problems related to excess noise as hearing loss and stress are increasing in modern society. Due to the high number of noise disturbance in daily life and not adapting buildings to contain such noises that interfere with the well being of the user. This work is to study the mechanisms and efficiency of sound insulation for partition walls in structures of Light Steel Framing. The absence of studies on isolation building systems reduces the use of insulating materials in buildings. This research will be important for both professionals and businesses as possible the knowledge of the acoustic performance of materials and prioritizing the problem resolution of acoustic comfort. We will compare the sound insulation performance of conventional masonry walls with Light Steel Framing partition, whose contribution will be to improve the environmental comfort of the users.
