Abstract

One of the main ways of expanding Brazilian cities occurs from the production urban land division, either through settlements or dismemberment of plots. In Brazil, this practice is regulated by Federal Law 6.766/79, valid throughout the national territory, which determines: land division typologies, urban demands beyond the health, criminal, civil and administrative. However, who approves the urban land division is the municipality, may also regulate on this matter from the municipal laws: urban land subdivision law, zoning law and master plans. This research aims to identify the Laws of Production of Land Division in Brazilian Capitals of North and Miswest: (mis)alignments with The Federal Law 6.766/79. To achieve this objective, the student will develop its activities as follows: literature research, documentary research, comparative analysis, discussions and conducting scientific report. This research will contribute to the composition of the regulatory framework on land urban division in Brazilian Capitals.
