Abstract

The research project in question comes after a series of questions, including, where would blacks in Presidente Prudente? What would have been their contributions to the formation of society Prudentina? Does this population recognizes that there is discrimination, racism and prejudice in social relations woven in this city? And the black youth? As this is articulated, it manifested? As these young people become visible in social relations of this municipality? As these boys and girls build their territoriality? Among these questions, then seek verticalize object of our analysis, we set then will work specifically with the black youth Prudentina, because we start from the beginning of the search for their social visibility. Thus seek to understand how these issues as youth dialogue with emblematic as racial discrimination, ethnic identity construction, and the construction of territoriality. Throughout the project discourse about the quantitative presence of black present in urban Presidente Prudente. We continue our discussion by presenting some of the manifestations preterit recorded in fewer files found, and from this material and conducting exploratory research that we define our research subjects, as well as the questions to be answered during the development of this project, if approved. Thus, this project aims to contribute significantly to the scientific academic as well as contribute to the pluralization of scientific studies, thus promoting studies on ethnic and racial youth in Geographic Science.
