The field of higher education has the specific function of training professionals able to work in the labor market and generate technological innovations capable of exerting competitiveness in the economy. Previous investigations it was found that the undergraduate student has become skilled and cheap manpower for scientific production. This institutional issue affects training undergraduate student, when one observes the existence of a progressive continuity in the campus in sequence of graduation to postgraduate. This research aims to analyze the performance of the postgraduate student in the process of knowledge production, characterized in productivist logic, based on the commercialt evaluation model proposed for the Postgraduate. The research presents qualitative and quantitative approach, being developed at the Federal University of São Carlos and Federal University of Viçosa. The sample of participants will consist of students who are enrolled in seven postgraduate programs, one from each Science Center belonging to FIHE. In the construction of the data will be used in the online questionnaire sent by email to students of master's and doctorate and semi-structured interviews will be conducted with 14 students (seven master's and seven doctoral students). The analisys of results will be based on critical-dialectical perspective characterized in dialogic discussion, composing aspects: coherence, consistency, originality and objectification. It is expected that the research provides support for reflection on the process of scientific knowledge production, experienced by the postgraduate student in the logic of academic productivism.
