Abstract

Technology innovation in the development and application of unconventional materials is causing considerable impact on the habits of Brazilian society. Brazil has very high potential agroindustrial and consequently strong generation of waste. The use of agroindustrial waste as raw material for the manufacture of composite materials can make it a product with high added value and which can be used to manufacture objects developed by design environmental, for socio-communitary use, as schools and kindergartens. This study considers the study and application of panels bonded with natural base resin, as well as the characterization of these panels, according to the requirements of its application, in order to not only add value to this biomass, but also to develop objects to social, how educational toys and furniture for the children's education. The aim is the development of useful products to schools and / or daycares early childhood education from the public and the general consumer market. Will be determinated the main physical and mechanical properties and durability of these panels, since they must be used as raw material for furniture and toys, as well as the quality questions guided the national norms and international, both in relation to the panels as objects developed. The results will be the basis for the indication for use of these panels to the socio-community, sensitizing society to the possibilities for use of waste and its application to goods destined for community use.
