Abstract

Currently over 80% of global energy comes from fossil fuels. But, the trend is that nuclear energy, fossil fuels and biomass will be abandoned in next four decades due to scarcity of sources. Will require the use of the solar, wind, ocean, hydropower and geothermal energy. The demand by renewable energy could be 95%. But the energy planning is no easy task due to its multi-objective character. There are several problem in order social, economic and environmental. Thus, the mathematical optimization techniques are excellent tools for decision making in studies and deployments of plants or renewable energy parks. This project aims at the investigation of multi-objective optimization techniques applied to logistics planning and generation of renewable energy process, with an emphasis on wind energy and biomass energy (AU)
