Abstract

This research project has a disciplinary interface between urban geography and cultural. On the one hand, seeks to describe in space-time the creation of spaces for sociability of young related with leisure industry nightly in medium-sized cities. on the other hand, in a socio-spatial approach, we seek to understand how to define the territoriality and sociability of young poor residents on the outskirts attending the central areas at night. That is, first seeks to identify where and how the spatial arrangement of the areas of consumer and nightlife frequented by young people. Then the entedimento and description of how places are frequented by the young, while socio-spatial practices. The results will contribute to the understanding of economic and social processes related to internal redefinitions of medium-sized cities
