Abstract

The work's hypothesis is based on the socio-juridical analysis of the new roles of criminal advocacy in light of the cooperation duties established as a State policy to help prevent economic criminality, evaluating the context in which certain professionals have to be previously responsible for the occurrence of crimes. The research divides itself in two different phases: (1) a sociological study of the influence that the manifestations of economic power have on the legal services, inducing, since the anticipation of responsability in the corporate field, a preventive professional performance, regarding the specialization of cooperation duties with the State's regulatory standards; (2) the verification of these new roles and the range of responsability in the corporate field, concerning Law n.° 12.683 ("new money-laundering law") and the criminal compliance programs, analysing the recent transformations regarding the configuration of money-laundering as a crime.
